Unsure how you can have a visible presence and stand out in a crowded market
TerpSummit 2021 will run from Monday 11th to Wednesday 13th January 2021, with a variety of presentations to choose from each day.
No surprises here: you can tune into the summit from the comfort of your home office. Or your living room sofa - pyjamas optional!
Interpreters love to speak and interact live, so most of the speakers are very keen to hold live workshops, Q&As, taster sessions etc.
Where there are actual presentations, they will mostly be 20-30 minutes long. Nice and short so you can get the information you need, and take action quickly! The presentations will be available for 24 hours afterwards to encourage you to stop waiting for the right time and take action, along with hundreds of other interpreters.
Not everyone loves Facebook, I know, but it has its uses - especially as I'm already in touch with many of you through my Facebook pages.
You'll have access to a private pop-up group just for summit attendees, where we'll be partying before the summit starts, and talking about useful takeaways once it kicks off.
Keep an eye out in the Facebook group for short challenges, games, an introduction to the speakers, and more.
We'll be holding a prize draw for people who purchase the Interpreters' Toolkit for Success.
Our speakers have generously contributed some amazing prizes, including 1-1 strategy sessions, books, 2 years' free membership of a glossary tool, and more. The draw will take place on the last day of the summit.
Look out for giveaways in the Facebook group, where you can play bingo for prizes: virtual, edible, or physical!
After registering, you can also upgrade to gain access to the Interpreters' Toolkit for Success.
That means you'll have on demand access to presentations and worksheets, mp3 files so you can listen to the replays on the go, premium bonuses from our speakers, and special English retour diagnostic sessions (first come, first served).
You won't want to miss it!
Now for the part you've been waiting for! Here are the amazing speakers you'll be hearing from at TerpSummit 2021: Fit for the Future.

But here's what some of my own clients have had to say.
I really enjoyed every session I had with Sophie. They always were engaging, lively and really useful.
I have been working on adding an English B, and I felt like I needed someone else than my (otherwise awesome) practicing buddies to really up my game. We simply tend to lack in skills to pinpoint precisely what are the major recurring mistakes / how to improve on them. Sophie has all the tools we need to help us there. She flagged what I specifically needed to work on, besides the usual “French mistakes”, and gave me exercises to improve. Plus having a regular one-to-one coaching session helps to be organized and really pushed me to practice more efficiently between sessions.
All in all, even though this is a somewhat expensive investment, that is precisely what it is. An investment in my career and I find it absolutely worth it!
Lenaig T., freelance interpreter
Sophie offered lots of practical tips and a very insightful analysis of the situations that can lead to stress in an interpreting environment. Her webinar included a string of very useful and easily applicable ways in which we can overcome stressful situations, both in the booth as well as in life. The webinar was KISS technique based. Right to the point all the time and always ready to take any questions from participants.
It is very clear that she knows what she is talking about in all the topics she covers (eating and sleep habits, exams, assignments, how can an interpreter feel).
I wish I had attended this webinar at the beginning of my career. Sophie’s webinar is a source of inspiration and a very positive way of finding encouragement to improve performance at work and satisfaction with oneself. I definitely recommend this webinar to everyone, and not only to interpreters, as many things can be applied to all sectors and life in general.
